Session 5 | IOP Genomics - Turning Science into Business
11.30 – 13.00 hrs

Registration limit for this session has been reached.

When the IOP Genomics programme took off some 10 years ago, the genomics field was in its infant stages. Everything had to be learned, about the science itself, the technologies and the best way to organise this type of large-scale, multidisciplinary research projects in public-private partnerships. How has IOP Genomics contributed to the life sciences field, what breakthroughs have been established and what have we learned for future programmes?

This session will celebrate the most inspiring research and valorisation achievements and will take on the question how to make society profit from science.
