In attracting about 700 registrations, the eleventh edition proved again a positive and prosperous conference for the entire Life Sciences field and the Netherlands Genomics Initiative in particular.

Why Life Sciences Momentum?
Life Sciences Momentum has become a fixed entry on the calendar of a wide range of entrepreneurs, scientists, policy makers, industry representatives, NGOs, journalists and students. Meeting new people, catching up with existing relations, exchanging ideas and making new plans – it is all about networking and interacting.

Momentum 2011

The life sciences community gathered on 22 November 2011 in the World Trade Center in Rotterdam.
“Science for Society” showcased the tangible benefits of life sciences research for patients, consumers, companies and our environment.

Plenary speakers included Craig Venter, Feike Sijbesma, Clemens van Blitterswijk and Rudy Rabbinge. Besides the plenary sessions, the day also included parallel sessions, 30-Minute sessions and a €1 million NGI Valorisation Award. With over 700 registrations, the Momentum 2011 again proved to be a positive and fruitful conference for the entire Life Sciences field in general, and for NGI in particular.
